Dear HJIS Community,
Please read the following message concerning an important update to our current plans on school reopening.
Our school reopening date will be moved from Monday, March 30 to Monday, April 6. We will be continuing with Distance Learning next week 3/30 – 4/3. The Distance Learning schedule will continue as it has the three previous weeks. Please look forward to an email from your child(ren)’s homeroom teacher in the near future.
This decision has been made after thorough conversation and review with other International Schools in Japan (the majority of which have also decided to continue with distance learning a minimum of one more week). We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause, however, the health and safety of our faculty, staff, students and their families will always remain our priority.
As a result of this decision, we are willing to communicate this change to parent employers as necessary.

We sincerely appreciate your understanding and patience during this time. The global reaction to COVID-19 has profoundly affected us all, our collective teamwork is of utmost importance moving forward.

今回のメールはHJISの新たな計画です。重要な内容であるため、注意深くご確認くださいますようお願いいたします。
登校の予定日を3月30日（月）と計画していましたが、4月6日（月）に変更いたします。それに伴い、3月30日（月）から4月3日（金）まで、オンライン授業を続行します。3週間にわたって行われていたオンライン授業の時間割と同様です。お子さんの担任の先生からご連絡が届きますので、お待ちください。
新型コロナウイルスとそれに伴った他のインターナショナルスクールの対応を反映した上で、オンライン授業の1週間の延長を決定しました（大多数の学校ももう1週間オンライン授業を実施すると判断しております）。今回の決定によって生じるご不便ご不都合など重々承知しております。申し訳ございません。本校の生徒、ご家族、教員、スタッフの健康と安全を第一に考えた判断です。ご理解ご協力いただけると幸いです。
今回の判断に伴い、必要に応じてHJISはご家族の勤務先にご連絡いたしますので、その際はお知らせください。
