Dear Horizon Parents & Guardians,
As you may have recently noticed, our administration team has sent out several emails and/or announcements regarding our 20 Day – Attendance Policy as we have seen a sharp increase in student absences. Please note that one of our primary goals in the future will continue to be increasing student attendance in that it directly correlates to increased academic success.
However… Due to the increasing threat of The 2019 Novel Coronavirus, as well as other illnesses similar to influenza, we are encouraging you to avoid sending your child(ren) to school if they have symptoms such as: fever (feverish / chills), strong cough, vomiting, diarrhea, and/or related signs of illness.
Essentially, until further notice, we are willing to be flexible during times of unexpected health and safety related risk(s).
